Looks like the toads have gotten mites, Since moving into a bigger tank I have had terrible problems with humidity. I tried leaving the top of the tank open every day, and I forgot to close it every blue moon, Well, One night Naji decided to take advantage of my forgetfulness. Yeah, She escaped. Went all the way down stairs, and was hiding in the basement.
So, back to the mites, they are very small, though they vary in size. They are walking around on Naji, I'm wondering if they have anything to do with the humidity. l Don't see any on Nyekundu though, So I'm hoping that I caught it early. Had to move them into a different tank, (My "Hospital" tank.)
I'll decide what to do there, Hopefully it will be a easy-ish fix.
Hoping for the best!
Toadally Rad Afrian Red toads. - It all started when to African red toads (Or African Split-skin Toads) Hopped into someones luggage, Some how making it past the airports, the toads ended up in America. They needed someone to look after them, Because they can't go back to Africa, and so I volunteered. (Always loved toads and frogs.) I hope you enjoy following these two!

Welcome to the blog! Introductions!
Here's Naji, I believe that she is the female of the pair, I haven't heard any croaking, chirping or "snuffing" from her, and she is also bigger then Nyekundu, and Nyekundu looks like he has bigger fore arms (A sign of being a male)
And here's Nyekundu. ( I believe he's the male.)
Don'tmind the coloration differences. A cool thing I've noted about these toads, is they can change colors! From a rusty red like Nyekundu here, to a almost salmon color! Also, the pupils shrink, so the eyes may look different from picture to picture :)
